Test in order
- In Providers, select Test. If it fails, check the address, credentials and network.
- In Models, test the specific model. Appearing in the list does not guarantee a response.
- In MCP tools, test the server and check enabled tools.
Manual model entry and the button to test its connection
The model does not respond
Check that its identifier exists, that it is loaded, and that it supports the intended use. If the server requires a key, check the provider connection. Short configuration tests have a timeout; they do not impose that limit on conversations.
The browser blocks the API
Check local networking, HTTPS and CORS. Changing the chat request will not fix a browser network restriction.
A tool is missing
Test the MCP server again. Select the tool, enable the connection and save. If the server removed it, choose another available tool.
My conversations are missing
Open the same browser, profile and Veta address. Histories do not sync between devices or different Sites.
