MCP tools

Connect a server

  1. Open Settings → MCP tools.
  2. Select Add server. Choose a preset or enter its address.
  3. Add a token if the server requires one, then select Test connection.

Search MCP server configuration before testing its connection

Enable tools

  1. Select the tools to offer to the assistant.
  2. Turn on Enabled in assistant and save.
  3. Open a session and request a task that uses the tool.

The test checks the connection and retrieves the tool list. Each execution result is checked during the conversation.

Search the web

Connect a server that offers search, such as the Tavily preset with your credentials. Veta does not include a search subscription.

The official Tavily server connects through Veta to avoid the CORS restriction. The key remains saved in this browser: the server receives it temporarily with each request and forwards it to Tavily. Veta does not store the key or searches in the database, cache or relay logs, or share them with workshop members. Tavily receives searches and applies its own data policies.

Other Streamable HTTP servers connect directly from the browser and require compatible CORS settings. This panel does not run terminal (stdio) servers or configure OAuth.

To use Veta from another agent, see Veta’s MCP server. This panel connects external tools to the assistant; it does not configure access to that server.
