Choose a part
- Open 2D design in the project.
- Select the part to edit.
- Adjust its dimensions in Part and select Apply dimensions.

Change the shape
- Choose the part contour or add an internal cutout.
- Select the shape on the canvas to move or resize it.
- Check dimensions and properties before continuing.
Keyboard arrows and + / − buttons adjust numeric fields. Use Shapes for contours and cutouts, and Edges for edge profiles.
Reuse geometry
Save shapes in Settings → Geometries. When you insert a shape, the project keeps that version; editing the template does not automatically redraw existing parts.
Recalculate the cutting plan after changing dimensions or contours.
In Symmetry and repetition, mirror a cutout or repeat it by centre spacing. Save to library makes the geometry reusable. Reset edges to square before replacing the outer contour.
